1) Panasonic Factory Automation (PFA) CARTESIAN MOTION GANTRY SYSTEMS: (3 and 4 Axis )
The Secret is out: If you require precise path accuracy of 0.001 inch, these Cartesian units are highly recommended. They are sold by a small division of Panasonic to integrators, and manufacturers with targeted requirements, such as insertion and small screw driving, but the secret is that they are the same arms used by Panasonic in many of its own products such as fine-pitch surface mount pick and place machines, and selling for many times more! With a fourth axis of control available, and many digital outputs, controlling the flow of material to be applied is easily programmed into the system. See Robotics page for more details
